Two weeks ago, we tried visiting the Hoge Veluwe National Park. It didn’t go quite as planned, as we weren’t able to find the actual park… well, the entrance. We did manage to find an amazing little ice-cream shop instead. So we had ice-cream, walked around a bit and went home.
The plan for today was to go to Berg & Bos, a beautiful park in Apeldoorn. On our arrival, we were given a map to the alternate parking, as the main parking was completely full. The walk from the alternate parking was way too far and we decided to try our luck at finding the Hoge Veluwe National Park again… The entrance to the park was about a block away from the ice-cream shop!
My wonderful husband tagged along and was the designated carrier of camera bag and tripod for the day.
We had an absolutely amazing 12km walk and the scenery was breathtaking!
